SoldComparables uses only essential cookies: the ones needed to keep you signed in, to protect forms against forged requests and to remember a few preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Because nothing on the site needs your consent, there is no cookie banner.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. The browser sends it back with each request, so the site can recognise the same visit from page to page. Similar technologies, such as local storage, are covered by this policy in the same way.
The cookies we set

All of these are strictly necessary for the service you ask for, or store a choice you made. Under EU and UK rules they do not require consent.
Why there is no cookie banner
A consent banner is needed when a site sets cookies that are not essential, such as advertising or cross-site tracking. SoldComparables sets none of those, so there is nothing to consent to. If we ever add a non-essential cookie, we will ask for consent first and update this page.
Analytics
We measure how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited and whether searches complete) without cookies and without identifying you across sites. Counts are aggregated from server-side data. We do not build profiles and we do not share this data with advertisers.
The one search per day available without an account is counted with a hash of your IP address stored on our side, not with a cookie. More on this is in the privacy policy.
No advertising pixels
The site has no advertising pixels, social media tracking scripts or retargeting tags. Your searches stay private to your workspace and are never used for advertising.
Payment pages
When you subscribe, you enter card details on the payment processor's page. That page belongs to the processor and may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud, including 3D Secure checks. Those cookies are governed by the processor's own policy, not by this one. They are not set on soldcomparables.com.
How to control cookies
You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in or submit forms, but public pages will still load.
